When I started with Alecia I was all over the place in my thinking and handling of my emotions. I was taking care of my Grandmother, running two businesses and trying to balance my life in my marriage. I was on autopilot spinning out of control. I didn’t have the tools to control my emotions toward my loved ones.

Alecia helped me to realize that I was masking my thoughts with working, and just Doing what I automatically do without thinking. She helped me see why I felt the way I did, how she knew it was by way of my actions.

During this pandemic, I started to look at my life and future in a different way. I had been contemplating retiring early from my legal job. There were things I wanted to like traveling and going back to school and obtain a master degree and hopefully land a teaching position. The stresses in my life due to the pandemic and in the change of my work schedule would sometimes prevent me from taking this necessary steps in order to reach my goals. Working with a life coach has made me realize that I had the power to achieve all these thing but only I could unleash it. It was slow going and sometimes I had tons of excuses for not doing the things I needed to do, but I was told it was ok to have setbacks because that is life. My coach made me realize that these setbacks were temporary and that it is ok to pick up where you left off. I have taken the steps to apply and be accepted into a master program. I can now see the road ahead of me and I have learned the path I take is of my choosing. I still have work to do but I have made great strides. Thanks to my life coach.

I had a great experience working with Alecia. She made me take a step back and think of the reasons why I wanted to start the projects I was starting and how to prioritize the things I needed to get done to reach my goals. I was starting a side business and she helped me realize not just why I was doing it but why I was holding back. She made me understand how my relationship with my family and my partner affected my productivity and how it might be suppressing my potential. Over our meetings we slowed my mind down, she unlocked so many aspects of my life that lead me to where I am now. My family and I had for years been in a rocky relationship, jealousy, resentment and disconnect were at the center of our lives. I felt at times I had no support from them, in fact I feared they would only find ways to tear down my new project. Alecia helped me realize the only thing that matters is what will make me happy and finding people who are supportive and focusing on them. With that I spoke to my partner and told him exactly what I needed from him and found the support that was lacking in my life. The biggest take away from working with Alecia was giving priority to things that make bring you joy and learning how to distance those that bring only anxiety. Thank you Alecia.
